Karviná District ,Moravian-Silesian Region ,Czech Republic . It was a separate municipality but in1960 became administratively a part of the city ofHavířov built in1955 . It has a population of 22,340 (2007). panelák s occurred during the construction of a new city of Havířov, and Šumbark was transformed to an urban neighbourhood. Still some old houses remain although the majority of the population of Šumbark live in paneláks.The village of Šumbark was first mentioned in a written document in
