Henry "Harry" Wilson Cook (born in
South Shields , England in1949 ) is aGeordie martial artist , teacher and author.Biography
Cook has been a regular columnist in Europe's leading martial arts magazine Fighting Arts International, as well as contributing articles on a wide range of subjects and interviews with leading teachers and practitioners of the martial arts and related subjects. Currently he writes a regular column in Classical Fighting Arts (formerly Dragon Times magazine), based in California. Cook is also the author of several highly regarded martial arts books and a series of instructional videos.
He is the Chief Instructor of the Seijinkai Karate-do Association, a British based martial arts group dedicated to the practice of traditional Okinawan and Japanese martial arts and related systems.

Cook has worked in television and have been technical adviser and commentator for a number of programs dealing with the martial arts and applied self defense. One series, a three part program entitled Budo Sai, was shown nationally and received very favourable reviews from both the general public and the martial arts community.
Harry Cook has produced a four volume series of instructional videos/dvds entitled "Shotokan Karate - Advanced Training Methods", produced by Tsunami Productions.
