Hollis Alphonso Copeland (born
December 20 1955 , inTrenton, New Jersey , USA) is a retired American professionalbasketball player. He was a 6'6" (1.98 m) and 180 lb (82 kg)small forward and played high school basketball at Ewing High School [Emanski, Joe. 1978 NBA Draft by theDenver Nuggets , but was cut during camp. He signed on with theNew York Knicks and after two alternate seasons with the (in 1979-80 and 1981-82), and a stint playing in Spain with Zaragoza, Copeland's playing career was cut short in his second Knicks season, after dislocating several bones in his foot during practice.
