Sammaat

Sammaat are Rajput by race, and they are the long dwellers of the region. Sammaat came to Sindh with Aryan immigrants and since then have lived in the region. It is generally accepted that they are the descendants of Sam son of Krishan ( [Lord Krishna). There may be hundreds of tribes (Zaatt) and clans (Paaraa) among them.
