Athletics

Given the school's small size, the school had not been accepted to participate in any of the area sports leagues. After a decision by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association in February 2008, Hawthorne Christian Academy and Saddle River Day School will be added into the Olympic Division of the Bergen County Scholastic League starting as of September 2008. Despite the lack of formal league competition, the school has achieved success in track and field competition.
