Maria Liza A. Lopez-Rosario

Maria Liza A. Lopez-Rosario is an active law professor and law practitioner in the Philippines. She is a renowned expert in Philippine marriage and family laws.

She is a Senior Associate at Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura Sayoc and De Los Angeles, the third largest law firm in the country. She is also a Professorial Lecturer at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law, the oldest law school in the Philippines; and at the La Salle-FEU MBA-JD Program, a pioneering academic consortium in the country.

Early life and education

Rosario was born in 1963. Rosario is the legal counsel of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Phiippines (CBCP), the official organization of all catholic bishops in the country.
