Bennett Jones LLP is an internationally recognized Canadian law firm based in Calgary with branches in Edmonton and Toronto. It has a total of more than 320 lawyers and 450 staff, including a number of former politicians, i.e a deputy prime minister of Canada and a former Canadian ambassador to the United States of America.

The origins of the firm date back to the 1890s, before the Province of Alberta came into existence, to the Calgary law practice of Sir James Lougheed and R.B. Bennett. The practice was reorganized in 1922 with R.B. Bennett (later Prime Minister of Canada, from 1930 to 1935), Alexander Hannah and P.L. Sanford as partners. Bennett Jones LLP has since grown to become one of the largest law firms in Canada.

Bennett Jones LLP has contributed to and supported its surrounding community since its inception. The members of the firm are committed to and actively involved in a wide range of community interests, including many business, cultural, sporting and educational activities. In addition, members of the firm on a continuing basis participate in the activities of the legal profession, including involvement in the Canadian, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec Bar Associations.
