El Amor No Tiene Precio (Love Doesn't Have A Price) is a Mexican telenovela aired in 2005 and 2006.

Plot

Maria Liz lives in a poor vicinity of the city of Mexico with her maternal grandfather, and her old British grandfather Henry Alexander. Maria Liz was 12 years old when her mother, after the abandonment of her husband, fell in a deep depression and died soon after. Mr. Alexander finished losing his fortune by a fall in stock-market values, and the additional blow of the death of his daughter affected his mind. With effort and determination, Maria Liz managed to finish her studies and become a nurse, although she does not leave her dream to study medicine. With which it still contains her grandfather's work, she keeps it in a suitcase full of actions and oath hoping that someday its fortune will recover. Maria Liz also helps in what she can with her boyfriend, Marcelo, who studies the engineering. But Marcelo is an egoistic man who only thinks about finishing his career and leaving the vicinity as soon as he obtains good work, forgetting the sacrifices that his parents and Maria Liz have made. In an elegant district of the city Sebastián lives with his mother, Doña Lucrecia. Sebastián is a civil engineer; a complete working man. He detests the false world in which his mother live, who was undressed of the fortune that inherited of its husband by its political family, and with work and sacrifices has obtained a high standard of life. Marcelo finds a job in the constructor where Sebastián works and immediately forgets his promise of marriage to Maria Liz. He begins to intrigue to remain with the position of Sebastián… and his girlfriend, Araceli, who is the daughter of the owner of the constructor. When a worker is wounded in an accident, Sebastián takes it to the hospital where Maria Liz works. Although them first encounter is conflicting, Sebastián recognizes that she is very good nurse and soon after contracts it so that takes care to his mother. But Doña Lucrecia begins to do the impossible life to him to the young person when she occurs account with which his son is falling in love with Maria Liz, and she of him. Doña Lucrecia wants for her son the economic security and the social level that its marriage with the frivolous and superficial Araceli would give him, thus is allied with Rosolía, who always hated María Liz because the Dr. Arnaldo Herrera is in love with her when Rosalía loves him. But Sebastián found in Maria Liz to the woman of his dreams, a noble, strong and sincere woman who knows that: “El Amor No Tiene Precio”. In spite of the obstacles that Lucrecia, Araceli and Rosalía put to them to their love, they do not manage to separate them. They decide to get married, The problems begin when the villain Luciano puts a trap to Miguel Augusto, who commits suicide. Seabastián leaves María Liz in them wedding and she is disappointed of him. Mariano falls in love with María Liz, who discovers that she is pregnant of Sebastián...
