Carlo Minoretti was born in
Cogliate ,Lombardy . He was educated at theSeminary ofMilan .Ordained priest in 1884. Served as a Faculty member of Seminary ofMonza from 1890 until 1907, when he became a Faculty member of the Seminary of Milan until 1909. He then did Pastoral work in Archdiocese of Milan until 1915.Episcopate
Pope Benedict XV appointed himBishop of Crema on6 December 1915 . He was consecrated on16 January 1916 byAndrea Cardinal Ferrari ,Archbishop of Milan .Pope Pius XI promoted him tometropolitan see of Genoa on16 January 1925 .Cardinalate
Pope Pius XI created himCardinal-Priest of "S.Eusebio" in theconsistory ofDecember 16 1929 . He died in 1938 in Genoa in office.External links
