Kalloorkad

Kalloorkad is a village situated in Muvattupuzha taluk of Kerala State. It is at a distance of thirteen kilometers from Muvattupuzha, twelve kilometers from Thodupuzha, and five kilometers from Vazhakulam. Economy of Kalloorkad very much depends on agriculture rather than any other stream and main cultivations are rubber and pineapple. Kalloorkad is well connected with towns like Thodupuzha, Muvattupuzha and Kothamangalam through bus servises.

St Augustine's Church, Kalloorkad is the place where majority of the population who are Roman Catholics gather together and offer their prayers. There is also a temple in Kallorkad. There is a High School and even a college run by the church.
