Hollywood, Maryland , Cadman earned a bachelor's degree fromCalifornia State University in 1989 before settling in Colorado. Cadman worked as the office manager for U.S. RepresentativeJoel Hefley from 1994 to 2000. From 1996 to 1998, Cadman was a board member of theColorado Republican Party .
