Erin Bell (b. March 6, 1980) is a videogame and technology journalist based in
Toronto ,Canada . She is currently a regular contributor toThe Globe and Mail ,PC World Canada , CrispyGamer.com and Gamezebo.com, and has also written forZiff Davis ’ "Pocket Games" magazine, the Canadian videogame magazine "Total Gamer", and Microsoft Home Magazine. From Nov. 2004 – Nov. 2006 she was part of the editorial staff of "HUB: Digital Living" and its sister publication, "hub:ce".In 2008, Bell became the editor of Gamezebo.com, often regarded as the internet's leading casual games website. In addition, she has contributed to various IT papers distributed by Marcom.
Bell is probably best known for her E3 2004 report “Booth Babe Dialogues,” a series of interviews with the notorious “
booth babes ” of theElectronic Entertainment Expo originally published at GameCritics.com.Bell graduated cum laude from the
University of Toronto in 2003 with a Bachelor of Music degree and a minor in classical civilizations. She went on to study journalism at Humber College, and completed an editorial internship atSaturday Night magazine .References
