James J. "Jumbo" Davis (September 5, 1861 in New York, New York - February 14, 1921 in St. Louis, Missouri), is a former professional baseball player who played third baseman in the Major Leagues from 1884-1891. He would play for the Brooklyn Gladiators, St. Louis Browns, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Statesmen, and Kansas City Cowboys.
