"Sugarhouse", also known as Sugarhouse Lane, is a 2007 British thriller film.

Plot

Disillusioned businessman Tom is looking for a gun in the back streets of East London; he thinks D - a young desperate drug addict can give him what he needs. But what D’s offering comes with more than just a price tag…

Holed up in a derelict warehouse, with the impending threat of local crimelord Hoodwink at their backs, both men play an intense game of cat and mouse; scrambling to cut a deal and make sense of the very lives they may be about to lose.

Locations

In the opening scene, Tom disembarks from a District Line London Underground train at Upton Park tube station. He then walks through the nearby Queens Road Market to meet D. The housing estate scenes were filmed on the Robin Hood Estate [http://local.live.com/?v=2&sp=Point.skjfgmgzzbym_robin%255fhood%255festate___&encType=1] , Poplar in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Canary Wharf can often be seen in the background.
