- Albert Vandeplancke
Albert D. Vandeplancke (born 1912) was a French
water polo player and freestyle swimmer who competed at the1928 Summer Olympics .In 1928 he was part of the French team which won the bronze medal. He played five matches.
He also participated in the 400 metre freestyle competition but was eliminated in the semi-finals. As a member of the French relay team he was eliminated in the first round of the 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay event.
