Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity

Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity

The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) was founded by Father James H. Flanagan on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, July 16, 1958 in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Holman, New Mexico.

The Society’s spirituality is Marian-Trinitarian. It is based on graced relationships that flow from the Triune God and the Blessed Mother to all of mankind. Through discipleship of Jesus and Mary members of the Our Lady's Society serve the Church in areas of deepest apostolic need.

The charism of the Society is to witness the fullness of ecclesial teams—priests, deacons, religious sisters and brothers, consecrated widows and single and married laity serving together in mission. SOLT's motto "Imitate Mary, Become like Jesus, Live for the Triune God" speaks to the New Evangelization that it seeks to give to the world. Today the Society serves in Belize, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Thailand, Italy, England and the United States.
