Alain "The Panther" Ngalani (born 7th July 1975), is a two-time Muay Thai kickboxing world champion. He was a former bodyguard of VIPs and high profile personalities in Ivory Coast before immigrating to Hong Kong, where he is a local celebrity. He is famous for his brutal training regimen which is explosive and intense. Similarly, his fights have all ended in brutal knockouts, besides his three career losses by points. Despite his bulky muscular appearance, The Panther is amazingly flexible and has been voted in "Le Monde du Muscle" as one of the fastest heavyweights in the world.

His trademark move is "The Panther High Kick" which served him well in his martial arts career. Recently, he has been receiving a lot of buzz in Youtube for his videos and rumored K-1 debut.

Martial arts background

Alain started learning Judo at the age of six, following his brothers. He started showing his exceptional abilities early, winning back-to-back junior tournaments in Cameroon and all over Africa. His first step really influenced by his mother, who had the love for the sport and wanted her boys to learn discipline and focus their energy positively.

Alain did successively Judo, Shotokan Karate, Savate, Full-contact kickboxing, Koshiki Karate, Muay Thai, Kyokushin Karate, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, holding a black belt in the majority of the disciplines.

Hong Kong

Alain currently trains at Impakt Academy of Mixed Martial Arts, which is also based in Hong Kong. He plans to fight in the K-1 Fighting Championships with the eventual aim of moving to the UFC.
