DiMAGE A2 is a digital camera which was manufactured by Konica Minolta.

The Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2 (it will be referred to as 'A2' in this article) was the successor to the A1. The A2 has an 8 megapixel CCD. The model is now discontinued. Sony bought out the Konica Minolta ( Engadget Article detailing the buyout) line and from that came the new Sony line called the Alpha series. The A2 is feature rich including items not found all in one on other cameras including a manual focus ring, time lapse options, a high resolution 922,000 pixel viewfinder as well as an articulating rear 1.8 inch screen, a 7x zoom barrel. The quality of the image is excellent for most amateur photographers. It is not considered a full SLR however, the lens cannot be changed and the viewfinder is still a digital representation of the object.
