Scania Torped

Scania Torped (Torpedo) is a concept car developed by the transport design student Louise Temin for Scania AB, as a way to showcase their environmental friendly eco-diesel V8. [http://www.metro.se/se/article/2007/06/06/20/4445-45/index.xml Metro: Scanias nya sportbil – en vägtorped] ]

It is a two seat roadster with some inspiration from Dodge Viper, not because it looks good, but because it was easier to use an ugly car as base. As of writing (2006) it only exists as design sketches and a scale model. According to Scania's head of design, Kristofer Hansén, the chances for a production is slim.
