Herbert Haresnape

Herbert Nickal "Bert" Haresnape (2 July 1880–1962) was an English backstroke swimmer from West Derby, [England & Wales, FreeBMD Birth Index: Herbert Nickal Haresnape; Jul-Aug-Sep quarter 1880; District: West Derby; Volume: 8b; Page: 426.] who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics and 1912 Summer Olympics.

In the 1908 Olympics he won a bronze medal in 100 metre backstroke.

Four years later at Stockholm he reached to the semifinals in 100 metre backstroke.
