January 26 ,1869 -July 1 ,1928 ) was a U.S. Representative fromWashington .Born in Ontario, Canada, Falconer moved with his parents to
Saugatuck, Michigan , in 1873.He attended the public schools.He moved toWashburn, Wisconsin .He was graduated from Beloit (Wisconsin) Academy in 1890 and later took college work at Beloit College.He moved toEverett, Washington , in 1894.He engaged in the lumber business.He served as mayor of Everett in 1897 and 1898.He served as member of the State house of representatives 1904-1908, serving as speaker during the 1907 session.He served as member of the State senate 1909-1912.Falconer was elected as a Progressive to the Sixty-third Congress (
March 4 ,1913 -March 3 ,1915 ).He was an unsuccessful candidate for the nomination forUnited States Senator on the Progressive ticket in 1914.He engaged in the ship-brokerage business in New York City 1915-1919.He moved toFort Worth, Texas , in 1919 and engaged in road-construction contracting.He moved to Farmington, N.Mex., in 1925 and engaged in the oil and gas industry.He died inWingdale, New York ,July 1 ,1928 .He was interred in Saugatuck Cemetery,Saugatuck, Michigan .ource
