Sub Bass Snarl is a long running music duo from
Sydney ,Australia formed bySebastian Chan (also known as "Yellow Peril") and Luke Dearnley (also known as "Lex Luthor"), who employ a "decks laptop and effects" setup. Since first forming in1991 , they have performed at over 1,000 events, including fiveBig Day Out festivals, Vibes On A Summer’s Day, and events from underground parties and clubs to galleries and corporate spaces. Overseas, Sub Bass Snarl has performed inTokyo , as well as shows inSan Francisco ,London andNew Zealand .They are also known for their improvised film scores and have improvised new soundtracks, complete with dialogue, for "
The Thing ", "Once Upon A Time In China ", "Moon Warriors ", "Tetsuo II ", "Hellraiser ", and other cult cinema.Dearnley and Chan also used to run a weekly Sunday night club night called "Frigid", which ran between
1996 and2006 . They also host the long running radio programme "Paradigm Shift" on Sydney community station2SER .External links
