Cher River which separates it from the commune of Orval. The two towns are connected by two bridges.The site rises from
Bourges and the Champagne Berrichonne area in the north, andMontluçon aftercanal de Berry which crosses the commune from southeast to southwest. Low flooding is common because of the nearby marshes.The city is the capital of

The settlement of Saint-Amand goes back to prehistoric times. Three cities were divided during the
