Florida Elite Soccer League

The Florida Elite Soccer League is a soccer league based in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The league was founded in 2006 and started play in May 2007. The Treasure Coast Galleons won the inaugural 2007 FESL title. The Space Coast Strikers & Palmeiras F.C. currently share the 2008 championship when the championship final was halted due to a lightning storm. Both clubs had college players returning to their schools the day after the finals, so the league awarded a co-championship to the Strikers and Palmeiras F.C..
The league season currently runs during the spring & summer months (April to August).
