Operation Completed Successfully (Windows Vista message)

Operation Completed Successfully (Windows Vista message)

The message "Error: The operation completed successfully" is an error message in Microsoft's new operating system, Windows Vista. The error message appears in a few different scenarios. One is in the configuration wizard of BizTalk Server 2004, and in a few places unique to the operating system. Many have taken it as a slogan in response to the Wow advertising campaign for Vista.

The cause of this message is that no system error has been caused, but another type of exception has occurred (e.g. the other end of a network connection has gone away). The program does not display the actual cause of the exception, but incorrectly uses the generic error message handler, which says that there is no error.
