Haynes, Hanson and Clark Conditions Stakes

The Haynes, Hanson and Clark Conditions Stakes is a flat horse race in the United Kingdom open to two-year-old thoroughbred colts and geldings. It is run over a distance of 1 mile (1,609 metres) at Newbury Racecourse, and it takes place annually in September.

The race can often provide an early sighting of subsequent equine stars, with past winners including Henbit (1979), Shergar (1980), Rainbow Quest (1983), Shahrastani (1985) and Unfuwain (1987).

Since the late 1980s such future champions have appeared less frequently in the race. King's Theatre and Nayef are the most notable winners, while other horses to run have included Snurge, White Muzzle, Millenary and Red Rocks. The 2006 race was contested by both Authorized (3rd) and Aqaleem (2nd), subsequently first and third in the 2007 Epsom Derby.
