Juliana Ragghianti Lohmann Cardoso, famously known as Juliana Lohmann, (
Niterói ,Rio de Janeiro ,September 1 ,1989 ) is a Brazilian actress and model.Career
In 1998, Juliana was discovered when she was watching the World Cup games in Icaraí Beach, Niterói. A talent scouter invited her to make a modelling test. Three years later, started in Rede Globo as actress of TV show "Malhação". She was cast as "Gabriela Ferreira", intelligent and the youngest child of the family; stayed on the teenage show until 2002.
In 2003 she was cast into soap opera "O Beijo do Vampiro", as the vampire "Pandora", that set a loving triangle involving the cast actors Kayky Brito and Cecília Dassi. Pandora wasn't expected to be cast in the original script, she was just included because the part played by Cláudia Raia, the soap villain, got pregnant during the shooting. That obligated the writer to let her get pregnant also in the story. After some time witouth shooting, the vampire played by Cláudia Raia returned with her daughter Pandora, giving an opportunity for Juliana to step up in the soap.
In 2004, after a participation in the TV series Um Só Coração, Juliana returned to the soaps as "Teca" in "Começar de Novo", once again playing the girlfriend of Kayky Brito's part. It can be said that Juliana consolidated her acting career, because she had a relevant part since the beginning till the end of the story.
In 2005, Juliana participated in paraná Fashion as a model. In the same year she acted in the play "Namoro" that, although wasn't her premiere in theater, gave her the opportunity to act continuously for the first time in front of a great attendance.
In 2006, after special participations in Globo shows, she left that station and got hired by TV Record to play in the soap "Vidas Opostas", playing "Carla Rocha", daughter of the couple played by Luciano Szafir and Babi Xavier.
In 2007, Juliana was modelling on
Fashion Rio . She also is confirmed to play in the new season of TV Series "Mandrake", of HBO. Her part, still undefined, will be "Alice".TV career
