Oliver Butterworth is a British violinist.
He is professor of violin at Trinity College of Music.
For many years he was Artistic Director of the London Schools Symphony Orchestra. He left this position under circumstances that were discussed in Private Eye.
His son is the London based rising star jazz pianist, Will Butterworth.
