Bill Waterhouse

Bill Waterhouse is an Australian barrister and bookmaker from 1954-1984 [p. 538 "Monash Biographical Dictionary of 20th century Australia"] He was dubbed by the press "The King of the Bookies" and achieved the largest turnover in Australia. He is the father of Robbie Waterhouse, and was also implicated in the Fine Cotton scandal. He is the father-in-law of Gai Waterhouse.
