Jeton Neziraj

Jeton Neziraj is Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Kosovo.He studied drama in Faculty of Arts in Pristina, Kosovo. Until now 15 of his plays are published, translated and staged in Kosovo and outside Kosovo in different languages (Albanian, French, Macedonian, English, Slovenian, Serbian, Romanian,Bulgarian...). He is the author of dozen theater critics and articles about drama and sociology of theater, published in local and international newspapers and magazines. Dozens of his screenplays were directed by the Kosovan Directors and also he won two times in row in the competition for Film Scripts in Ministry of Culture in Kosovo. Lately, his drama "Lisa is sleeping" has won the first prize on the national competition of Drama organized by Publishing House “BUZUKU”. He takes part in international conferences, seminars and theater Festivals and also runs international workshops in Drama and Theater. He’s the founder of MULTIMEDIA Centre in Pristina, which is focused on drama and modern theater. He is also drama professor at the University of Pristina.
