Warren Isbell Lee (
February 5 ,1876 -December 25 ,1955 ) was a U.S. Representative fromNew York .Born in
Bartlett, New York , Lee attended the public schools.He was graduated fromColgate Academy ,Hamilton, New York , in 1894, from Hamilton College,Clinton, New York , in 1899, and from theNew York Law School , New York City, in 1901.He was admitted to the bar in 1901 and commenced practice in New York City.He served as member of the State assembly 1906-1910 and in 1920.He served as assistant district attorney of Brooklyn 1912-1914. First deputy comptroller of New York State 1914-1917.He was one of the counsel to the Public Service Commission of New York 1917-1919.He served as delegate to the Republican State conventions in 1920, 1922, 1924, and 1927. Trustee of Hamilton College 1917-1921.Lee was elected as a Republican to the Sixty-seventh Congress (
March 4 ,1921 -March 3 ,1923 ).He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1922 to the Sixty-eighth Congress.He resumed the practice of law. Former director of Flatbush National Bank.He died inBrooklyn, New York ,December 25 ,1955 .He was interred in Green-Wood Cemetery.ources
