Garadice Lake, Ireland , Creamer Immigrated to the United States and took up his residence in New York City.He attended the public schools. Shipping clerk in a dry-goods house in 1860.He studied law.He was admitted to the bar and practiced.He served as member of the State assembly 1865-1867.He served in the State senate 1868-1871. City tax commissioner for five years. Acted as counsel for State commissions to revise the tax laws.Creamer was elected as a Democrat to the Forty-third Congress (
March 4 ,1873 -March 3 ,1875 ).He was not a candidate for renomination in 1874.Creamer was elected to the Fifty-seventh Congress (
March 4 ,1901 -March 3 ,1903 ).He was not a candidate for renomination in 1902.He resumed the practice of law in New York City, and died thereAugust 4 ,1914 .He was interred in Greenwood Cemetery.References
