Lhaimagu Faqeeraa

Lhaimagu Faqeeraa (misspelled as Lhaimagu Fageera) is a mystic most famously mentioned in the folklore of Dhonhiyala aaie Alifulhu cite book | first=Kashimaa | last=Shakir | year=1975 | title=Dhonhiyala aaie Alifulhu | pages=pp.127-128,130 | edition=First Edition | publisher=Kulunu | location=Maldives | id=] . He is supposed to have lived in Lhaimagu, Rep. of Maldives. According to the story, he saw a vision of a faihmini (a women with exceptional beauty) being born in Burunee, Rep. of Maldives. He then traveled to Burunee to confirm this and informed the king about the faihmini.

Misunderstandings

A lot of Maldivians assume that Lhaimagu Faqeeraa was a poor person. However, according to the story, he built a dhoni in order to travel to Burunee. This suggests that he was in fact one of the richest person in the island during his time.
