Yorktown, New York onNovember 7 1776 , and attended the common schools and also completed preparatory studies. He studied medicine with his father, Dr. Ebenezer White, and commenced practice in Fishkill, New York, in 1800.White was elected to the
19th United States Congress (March 4 1825 -March 3 1827 ). He resumed the practice of medicine. He served as presidential elector on the Whig ticket in 1840. He died in Fishkill, New York, onDecember 12 1862 and is interred in the Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery.External links
