William W. Warren

William Wirt Warren (February 27, 1834 - May 2, 1880) was a U.S. Representative from Massachusetts.

Born in Brighton (now a part of Boston), Massachusetts, Warren pursued classical studies, and was graduated from Harvard University in 1856.He studied law.He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in 1857. Assessor of internal revenue in the seventh Massachusetts district in 1865.He served as delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1868.He served as member of the State senate in 1870.

Warren was elected as a Democrat to the Forty-fourth Congress (March 4, 1875-March 3, 1877).He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1876 to the Forty-fifth Congress.He engaged in the practice of law until his death in Boston, Massachusetts, May 2, 1880.He was interred in Evergreen Cemetery.
