- Olle Linton

Olle Linton(real name Olof Linton), born 1972(?), died 2008(?), was, among a number of professions, a Swedish disc jockey mainly in the ambient music genre. He was most active during the late 1990s to early 2000s, when he also co-founded a few of Stockholm's (Sweden) most characteristic clubs. Also a teacher in religion, history and philosophy, and father of two.[1]In April 2008 Olle Linton set to repeat Aleister Crowley's feat of climbing the Himalayan K2 peak without oxygene supply. The expedition failed, and Olle Linton disappeared during the climb. He is presumed dead, and this has also been declared official by the Swedish authorities. At least two persons has claimed to be the late Linton, amazingly returned from the dead. The identities of these two remain uncertain, as is the real Olle Lintons, or his remains, whereabouts.
In researching the truth about the possible death of Olle Linton, some peculiarities arise: First, the problem of the never found body. Although pronounced dead by the authorities of Sweden, no sign or remains of Olle Lintons body was ever found, unusual in the sub-zero temperatures of the Himalayas. Second, there seem to be at least one more Olof Linton (not a common Swedish name) involved in religious studies, but born in 1898. A possible coincidence, but it still makes the true age of Olle Linton much more questionable. Could it be the same person? Unlikely.[citation needed]
