Jake Early

Jake Early

Jacob Willard Early (May 19, 1915 in Kings Mountain, North Carolina - May 31, 1985 in Melbourne, Florida), is a former professional baseball player who played catcher in the Major Leagues from 1939-1949. He would play for the Washington Senators and St. Louis Browns.
