LL.B., University of Colorado,Boulder, Colorado , 1959.He was in theUnited States Marine Corps , jet pilot in Korea from 1952 to 1956.He was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1959.He was a lawyer in private practice. Deputy district attorney,Eighth Judicial District, Colorado from 1959 to 1966. Municipal judge,Ault, Colorado from 1962 to 1965.He served as assistant district attorney from 1964 to 1966.He served as member of the Poudre R-1 School Board, Fort Collins from 1969 to 1971.He served as delegate to Colorado State Republican conventions from 1960 to 1972.Johnson was elected as a Republican to the Ninety-third and to the three succeeding Congresses (
January 3 ,1973 -January 3 ,1981 ).He was not a candidate for reelection in 1980 to the Ninety-seventh Congress.He resumed the practice of law inFort Collins, Colorado .He served as member of the supreme court judicial nominating commission, state of Colorado from 1984 to 1986.He served as member of the Colorado water conservation board from 1985 to 1987.He is a resident ofFort Collins, Colorado .References
