"Fortress" is a 1986 film directed by Arch Nicholson. The story takes place in an Australian school, where its teacher and students are kidnapped. It was written by Everett De Roche who adapted the based-on-true-events novel by Gabrielle Lord.

The film was loosely based on the 1972 Faraday School Kidnapping.
