Psycore

Psycore was a Swedish heavy metal group who formed in Gothenburg back in 1996.

The band consisted of vocalist Markus Jaan, guitarist Carlos Sepulveda, bassist Hansi Baumgartner and drummer Hans Wilholm.

Psycore disbanded after the second album "I'm Not One of Us". The specific time of disbandment is unknown.

Later, Markus Jaan and Carlos Sepulveda founded a heavy metal group called Sweden's Finest. This band also disbanded after its second album.Another project was also created by Sepulveda and Jaan, the alternative electronica group "Mikrotone" also featuring Freddie Wadling. Again, a short lived project with only one release titled "Spraylove".Sepulveda founded the studio Belly of the whale studio in order to record and produce these projects.

Carlos Sepulveda later founded the band Revenge of Lorenzo together with Per-Henrik Mäenpää. Revenge of Lorenzo disbanded in 2008, the reason given was a lack of time to concentrate on this project.

Carlos Sepulveda has since started a new project called Magellan Radio.
