Fenella Fudge

Fenella Fudge

Fenella Fudge (born Fenella Mimosa E Hadingham in the United Kingdom) is a newsreader for BBC Radio 2. She has also previously worked as an announcer for Radio 4, as well as being a television presenter and continuity announcer for ITV.

Fenella joined the BBC as a trainee secretary after leaving school, then later spent some time working in television production. After training as a continuity announcer with Radio Four, she turned freelance, and worked both in commercial radio and television. She then took time off to start her own business, before returning to the BBC, where she became a newsreader for Radio Two. She's a versatile voiceover with a wealth of accents and vocal styles, and even trains prospective voiceovers with "Voxtraining Limited". She can also be heard as the calm, reassuring voice of safety and emergency announcements on many international airlines.
