Zach Lipovsky is a visual effects specialist from Vancouver, British Columbia. He has also worked as a director, actor, writer, and editor in the film industry. Lipovsky was a finalist on the FOX reality show "On the Lot" .

Lipovsky gained attention with his entry for On The Lot. His introduction video featured himself shooting down a UFO with a bazooka, all done with CGI. His film was an edited version of an earlier project, Crazy Late. [http://films.thelot.com/films/595 "Crazy Late"] (films.thelot.com)]

Lipovsky was declared the show's wunderkind by judge Carrie Fisher. His film "Sunshine Girl" was shown on the June 19, 2007 episode and all three judges chose it as their favorite film that week. His short film "Die Hardly Working" was shown on the June 26, 2007 episode and two of the three judges said it was their favorite. However, Lipovsky was eliminated from the competition on August 7.
