Janusz Siadlak

Janusz Siadlak (b. June 12, 1961) is a Polish conductor.

Siadlak a founder, and from the beginning a conductor of " [http://www.pcz.pl/collegiumcantorum/ Collegium Cantorum] ". He is a graduate of the Music Education Faculty of the Higher Teacher Education School in Częstochowa and of the Postgraduate Choirmaster Education of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, which he finished with a distinction.

Moreover he was taking part in a lot of conductor seminaries and scientific symposia on the premises of whole Poland. In years 1994-1998 he was taking part in courses, seminars, symposia which were led by famous conductors and representatives of the world choral singing: Prof. Heinrich Poos from Frankfurt on/M, Dr Hans Jaskulsky from Conservatoire in Bochum, Dr Hayashi Hikaru from The University in Tokyo, Uwe Gronostay from the Philharmonic Hall in Berlin, Prof. Tatsuya Muratani from Tokyo.

In 1995 Janusz Siadlak was distinguished with the award of "The Best Conductor" within a framework of Choir Band Review in Częstochowa. In 1997 he got the distinction for "The Best Conductor" on the Religious Music Festival in Rumia. In 1998 he was distinguished with the Award of the Voivode for the whole of the artistic work and in August 2000 he was distinguished with the Award of the President of Częstochowa City for the great achievements in a music areaHe was chosen for "The Creator of the Year 2000" by the plebiscite of the "Gazeta Wyborcza" newspaper and the Chapter of the "Życie Częstochowy" newspaper chose him for "The Man of the Year 2000".
