May 27 1876 ,July 4 1952 ) was a Polish historian, lawyer, and politician, prime minister ofPoland (1917-1918).In 1898 he graduated from
Warsaw University , he was a member ofZet political organizaction, National Democrats (Narodowa Demokracja) movement, and National League (Liga Narodowa) until 1911. In the first years of theWorld War I he was inSwitzerland , where he wrote some articles for the Polish cause. In June 1917 he came back toWarsaw receiving a job in the administration under theRegency Council . Since26 November 1917 till27 February 1918 he was the prime minister of the Polish government. After 1920 he dedicated his life to scientific work. Since 1940 (World War II) he was in exile in theUSA , where he published many works for the Polish cause, mainly from ananti-communist andanti-Soviet point of view.Publications:
