Geophysical Phase Reader (GPR)

Geophysical Phase Reader (GPR)

The geophysical phase reader (GPR) is a precise measuring instrument which reads electromagnetic signals emitted by the earth. When there is a disturbance in the earth, it creates an unusual change within the readings which can be visualized in a modern computer program.

Geologists and geophysicists have noted the electromagnetic signals which are emitted from the Earth. The signals that are emitted travel from the Earth into space itself. Once there is a difference, the electromagnetic (EM) waves are altered, this is also known as the mixing bowl effect. Which means that the soils have been disturbed.

For several years seismologists have intensely debated whether or not you can forecast earthquakes by the electromagnetic signals emitted by rocks under stress.
