Referendum-Mary Boyoi

"Referendum" is the name of Mary Boyoi's debut release from April 2007. The use of Referendum here is referring to the coming election in 2011 at the end of the six year interim period as outlined in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement signed in 2005.

It is a mixture of English, Arabic and Murle songs set to the sounds of contemporary beats. These songs focus on the history of the war, hope for the future and desire for change.
