Hungarian Calendar

The Hungarian Calendar hypothesis is a theory developed by Hunnivári, which suggests that in the Middle Ages between 880-1080 CE, 200 years never occurred.

The Hypothesis

According to Hunnivári, the Julian Calendar was introduced in 153 CE by Julius Caesar, and took force in 154 CE, contrary to 45 BCE. This means an error of exactly 198 years in historical chronology. The 2004 English edition states that the Hungarian edition was not "deemed worthy of serious criticism".
