James Burrows is a politician and current municipal councillor in St. Albert, Alberta.
He first ran for St. Albert City Council in 1998, soon after moving to the city. [ [http://www.rewedmonton.ca/content_view2?CONTENT_ID=1091 Real Estate Weekly ] ] He was defeated, but was more successful three years later when he was one of six councillors elected from a field of fifteen. During this election, he received an endorsement from S.E.N.S.I.B.L.E. Choice, a lobby group which favoured the same alignment for the city's west regional road as did Burrows. Burrows was re-elected in 2004, and has announced his intention to run for re-election in the 2007 election [Saint City News, August 17, 2007]
