Brendan Carr (born
March 26 ,1980 inGreat Yarmouth ,England ) is a British professionalactor and action actor.Life
He trained at Stagecoach School of Performing Arts while attending regular school at The Grange in his home town of
Aylesbury .He began his acting career playing a role in a film short called "Pure Vengeance" alongside
Scott Adkins and Gordon Alexander. He then starred in "Masters of Combat" as Master Kali's disciple. He later went on to play Max Ryan in "Jesus the Curry King" alongsidePooja Shah . The film was produced by the Aylesbury Film Company and was one of the first digital films to be shown in cinemas in theUnited Kingdom .In
2004 , Carr got his first big break in a full feature Movie called "The Purifiers " where he played the bad guy Moz alongsideDominic Monaghan from TV series "Lost" and "Lord of the Rings ".In
2005 , Carr was asked to play the lead role of Clifford (nicknamed Taz) in a film called "Love Struck ", which later went on to win best film at the London Portobello Film Festival. The film also starredJoey Ansah from the "Bourne Ultimatum ".Other credits include "
Band of Brothers " (2001 ), "Avatar " (2003 ), "Left for Dead " (2004 ), "Starhyke " (2006 ) and the "Royal Variety Performance ".In 2006 Brendan starred in a comedy TV commercial with Bronson Webb, for
MTV 's "Pimp My Ride ". The commercial was played more than 100 times a day. In2006 -2007 Carr was offered another movie break playing the part of Jason in "Rise Of The Footsoldier". Rise of the Foot Soldier received a cinematic release in September2007 .After Finishing filming on Rise of the Foot Soldier in 2007 Carr went straight into filming the action movie "
Ten Dead Men ", produced by award winning producerPhil Hobden and directed by Ross Boyask, where he played the lead character Ryan with Terry Stone ("Rolling With the Nines") and Pooja Shah ("Eastenders ", "Bend it like Beckham "). Shah played his girlfriend in the movie. Ten Dead Men, along with the Rise of the Foot Soldier will be Carr's most challenging roles to date.Filmography
