Iron Horse Middle School is located in San Ramon, California in the Silicon Valley. Iron Horse is in front of the Iron Horse Regional Trail.The Jaguar is the mascot of Iron Horse.

Iron Horse's video production class has a TV show called 'Mornings at Iron Horse' which is broadcast throughout the school.

Campus

Iron Horse has a two story classroom building (20 classrooms), a library with media center, a learning center, cafeteria (MPR), instrumental and choral music rooms next to the MPR, an outdoor environmental science classroom, and thirteen portables in the back of the school. The community gym is shared with Iron Horse. To the side of the gym there is the track, and at least six basketball courts.
